Think that you were born to bowl? Come on out to Bearcat Lanes and show off your skills.
Bearcat Lanes, located at 1803 South Main, is open Monday through Saturday. The cost to bowl starts at $3.00 with a $2.00 shoe rental fee. Cost of bowling can go up depending on the time and day that you choose to bowl. Tuesday and Thursday nights offer a different environment. From 9:30pm until 11:30pm, Bearcat Lanes offers Cosmic Bowling. Cosmic Bowling is a fun and friendly atmosphere. The regular lights are turned off and the black lights are turned on to create a more energized mood that is great for college students. Although cosmic bowling requires reservations, any other time you are free to walk in and do your thing.
Bearcat Lanes also has fall and winter leagues that you can join to get more involved. It offers men's, women's, co-ed, student, youth, and senior bowling leagues; they are open to people of all skill levels. To play on a women's team, you can have a group of three or five team members. If you are interested in playing on a men's team you need to have groups of five members.
Not only does Bearcat Lanes offer a fun place to hang out, they also have a food court. You can get a whole meal or just something little to snack on. From hamburgers to fries, or chips to chicken, the bowling alley will have something tasty for you.
