Peek under the hood of cars you probably couldn't handle if you got behind the wheel. You've only dreamed of driving as fast as these wheels can take you. Visitors' reflections gleam off of shining car exteriors as ceiling lights beam down on brand new vehicles.
In Kansas City, Mo., you can picture yourself sitting behind a red V8 2009 Pontiac Solstice with 260 horse power that goes zero to 60 in 5.5 seconds. That's one of many cars at the Greater Kansas City International Auto Show. Look and touch, no test drives allowed.
Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City hosts one of the largest, highest attended auto shows in North America. Inside lies an area the size of eight football fields, full of cars. Acura, Lexus, Cadillac and Porsche all reserved fair shares of the convention center.
It's a place family and friends can get together and dream or slide into the driver's seat to feel what real driving really feels like. Dealers offer computer systems that allow visitors to build their own cars, proving that the car industry has established ways to make customers happy.
The Greater Kansas City International Auto Show gives people a chance to see new 2009 models and a sneak peek at the new cars coming in 2010. The best dealers in the area come to Bartle to show off their models to the area.
One at a time car junkies. If you love to work on cars, know everything about cars or just love to think you know everything, this is your place.
