The hosts so enthusiastically told us that a thunderstorm occurred every thirty minutes and the animals "came to life" ever fifteen minutes.

Your eyes constantly darted around the restaurant; there is always something to see. We were guided to our table by our crew members, dressed in khaki's, a green button down shirt, toting fanny packs.

We were placed promptly at our table, granted we did make reservations. Our table was located near the entrance, next to the mushroom shaped bar.

The chairs were mimics of animal legs and gave the impression of a centaur in some cases. The bar was supported by a large aquarium that held a variety of different fish and sea life.

The menu is extensive, anything from coconut shrimp on skewers with rice, to BBQ chicken wraps served with chips or fries.

Dessert is always an option; the volcano was a massive explosion of chocolate, caramel and vanilla with hot fudge. The crew members shouted 'Volcano' whenever one was on its way out. There are many locations of Rainforest Cafe's throughout the world; we went to the one in Overland Park, Kansas located inside the Oak Park Mall.

Children are shown around in the midst of the excitement in the jungle they feel like "real safari guides" said Kinnick Sager of Overland Park.

"My kids always love to come here, they get colors and they never seem to tire of the jungle atmosphere. I always have to get them something from the gift shop" Said Kinnick's mother.

No matter what your taste, the Rainforest Café is sure to ease your jungle fever with delicious cuisine and a fun, inviting atmosphere that is sure to settle the hungry beast within you.
